2008 7th Annual Legislative Breakfast

Rural Solutions hosted their 7th Annual Legislative Breakfast at the Washington County Event Center, Akron, CO on November 14.  There was an excellent turn out for the event with approximately 50 attendees.  These attendees included legislators such as Congresswoman-elect Betsy Markey, State Representative Cory Gardner and Senator Wayne Allard's aide Danyel Brenner.  There was an excellent attendance by the county commissioners and commissioners-elect.  We had a format of open discussion with the Legislators and then broke out into round table discussions to discuss the different organizations and agencies represented by Rural Solutions Board Members.

Betsy Markey, Danyel Brenner and Cory Gardner address some of the questions and comments brought to their attention.

Cory sits with some of the Commissioners and takes a moment to look at the contents of the packets handed out.

Here some of the attendees take some time to finish breakfast and look at their packets.
